International research

The University of Oulu´s multifaceted skills and the influence it exerts on the local business world is best seen through the Faculty of Technology. High level international research is carried out particularly in the fields of applied electronics and information and communication technology.

There are about 4700 students in the Faculty of Technology and it is the largest of the six faculties at the University of Oulu. The Faculty offers teaching and research in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Information Networks, Electronics, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering and Management.
